Abstract
- A research study conducted at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University in China explored the role of dysregulated RUNX family genes in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC). The study found that KIRC patients had high expressions of RUNX1, RUNX2, and RUNX3 genes. The overexpression of RUNX1 and RUNX2 negatively affected patient outcomes. The study also revealed that the dysregulation of RUNX family genes was associated with the differential distribution of immune cells. These findings provide new insights into the pathogenesis and immunologic roles of the RUNX family in KIRC patients. [Extracted from the article]
