Abstract
- Airtel Africa is investing in infrastructure expansion by collaborating with companies like IHS Towers and investing in the 2Africa cable network system. The deal with IHS Towers allows Airtel Africa to take tenancies over the next five years and extend existing tenancies until December 2031. Airtel Africa has also launched Telesonic Limited, a subsidiary that will use Airtel's ground fiber assets and submarine cable systems to meet the growing demand for wholesale data in Africa. Additionally, Aqua Comms has announced that Jim Fagan is leaving the company and Andy Hudson is now the acting CEO. [Extracted from the article]
