Diagnostic Yield of Kidney Ultrasound in Children Evaluated for Hypertension.

The article presents the discussion on case study of 16-year-old male with no significant past medical history was referred to our pediatric nephrology clinic for high blood pressure detected by his primary care pediatrician. Topics include clinicians order this study for all children and adolescents with hypertension, particularly in the subspecialty setting; and diagnostic yield of kidney ultrasound in the evaluation of children and adolescents with hypertension.
