Abstract
- A systematic review conducted by researchers at Utah State University examined the use of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for U.S. veterans. The review analyzed 249 papers and found 34 relevant studies that met the inclusion criteria. The results suggest that ACT shows promise as an intervention for veterans across various conditions and delivery methods. However, the review also highlighted limitations such as recruitment methods, lack of active control conditions, and a limited number of randomized trials. The researchers recommend further investigation into which presentations respond to ACT and how to increase its effectiveness for U.S. veterans. [Extracted from the article]
