Abstract

A study conducted by researchers at the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, aimed to understand the factors that influence consumers' intention and actual use of mobile sharing economy (MSE) platforms. The study used a combined SEM-ANN-NCA analysis to examine users' adoption of MSE and identified several key findings. Mobile ease of use and trust were found to be necessary and sufficient conditions for mobile usefulness and epistemic benefit, respectively. Behavioral intention was found to be a necessary and sufficient condition for actual use. The study provides practical and theoretical insights for MSE service providers, operators, users, and scholars. [Extracted from the article]
