Abstract
- The American Economic Association has recognized Dr. Bronwyn Hall, a professor emerita of economics at the University of California, Berkeley, as a 2024 Distinguished Fellow for her contributions to the fields of economics and innovation. Dr. Hall has taught at Berkeley for almost four decades and has conducted extensive research on patents, patent citations, research and development, productivity, and firm-level microdata. She has also held academic and research positions at various institutions, including Harvard University, Oxford University, and the Max Planck Institute.
