Abstract
- Erin McKnight is a staff writer for Wake Living and Cary Magazine. She was born in Scotland and raised in South Africa, and has lived in various states and islands in the US. Erin is drawn to writing because of her love for language and literature. She recently finished reading "The Last Animal" by Ramona Ausubel. Erin has a rescue dog named Maximus and loves animals. She moved to North Carolina to be with her family and considers it one of the best decisions she has made. Erin has a teenage daughter whom she loves dearly. She describes herself as messy and finds neatness exhausting. Erin's go-to karaoke song is non-existent because she is tone-deaf. If she had a time machine, she would go to the Library of Alexandria. Erin collects books and has texts from her childhood and education. Her first job was as a hostess at a local restaurant. She doesn't have a bucket list but maintains an anti-bucket list of things she doesn't want to do. [Extracted from the article]
