Abstract
- This article provides a brief overview of several art documentaries available for streaming. It highlights "Anselm," a documentary about German artist Anselm Kiefer and his installations that address Germany's past; "Close to Vermeer," which takes viewers behind the scenes of a major exhibition of Johannes Vermeer's paintings in Amsterdam; "Nam June Paik: Moon Is the Oldest TV," a portrait of Korean-born artist Nam June Paik, who pioneered video art; "The Melt Goes On Forever," a documentary about Black artist David Hammons and his resistance-themed art; "Robert Irwin: A Desert of Pure Feeling," which explores the works of artist Robert Irwin; and "Earth Protectors," a film that follows environmental artist Anne de Carbuccia as she documents the impact of climate change.
