Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers at Hashemite University in Zarqa, Jordan, aimed to evaluate the level of awareness among adult females in northern Jordan regarding breast cancer risk factors and potential causes. The study found that the majority of participants had a good understanding of breast cancer risk factors, but there is still a need for ongoing medical education programs to further improve knowledge. Breast cancer is the most prevalent type of cancer among women in both industrialized and developing nations. The study's findings suggest that North Jordanian women are well-informed about breast cancer, but there is room for improvement in knowledge dissemination. [Extracted from the article]
