Abstract

A patent application has been filed for a method of effectively treating disorders related to abnormal phosphate metabolism, such as those associated with abnormal FGF23 signaling. The invention involves determining the dosing regimen of anti-FGF23 ligands based on phosphate levels and regulated levels of FGF23 during chronic administration. The patent application also includes methods for increasing serum phosphorus levels and serum 1,25-dihydroxy vitamin D levels in subjects with hypophosphatemic disorders by administering anti-FGF23 antibodies every two weeks. The invention aims to provide more effective treatments for these disorders and evaluate their efficacy. [Extracted from the article]
