Finerge completes wind acquisition, Spain.

Portuguese renewable developer Finerge has completed the acquisition of a 71MW wind portfolio in the Spanish region of Navarra from Alfanar. The agreement, announced in May 2023, involved Finerge providing €130 million ($139m) to Alfanar for the construction of four wind farms with a total of 18 turbines. Three of the facilities are already operational, while the fourth will begin construction in the summer of 2024. The wind farms will produce 165GWh per year, enough to power 32,000 households. This acquisition expands Finerge's operating portfolio in Spain to over 300MW and adds to their existing portfolio of wind and solar projects in Portugal and Spain.
