Abstract
- A recent study conducted by researchers at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine examined the effects of potassium dichromate on the osmotic resistance of rat erythrocyte membranes. The experiment involved three generations of female rats exposed to the toxic substance. The results showed a significant decrease in hemoglobin levels and a decrease in osmotic resistance of the erythrocyte membrane, indicating a hemolytic effect. This research highlights the potential toxicity of potassium dichromate on blood cells and provides valuable insights into animal science.
