Abstract
- A recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Agricultural Sciences in Cluj Napoca, Romania, explores the various biological properties and effects of royal jelly, a secretion produced by nurse bees. The study found that royal jelly has numerous potential health benefits, including antioxidant, neurotrophic, hypoglycemic, hypolipidemic, hepatoprotective, hypotensive, antitumor, antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, and anti-allergic properties. However, the researchers note that there is still much to learn about the biochemistry and biological activity of royal jelly. This study provides valuable insights into the potential uses of royal jelly for human health. [Extracted from the article]
