Abstract
- A study conducted by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Timisoara, Romania, aimed to determine the impact of a by-product of salicylic acid on certain parameters of energetic metabolism in rats. The results showed that the synthesis product led to a significant increase in glycemia and fluctuation in cholesterol values, both within physiological limits. Triglycerides also experienced significant increases beyond physiological limits. Further information on this research can be obtained from Letitia Stana at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Timisoara, Romania. [Extracted from the article]
