Comparative Analysis of ERCP Success and Complications Among Age Groups.

This article, published in the journal Endoscopy, examines the success and complications of Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) in different age groups. The study analyzed data from over 6,000 patients who underwent ERCP at a Canadian tertiary care center between 2011 and 2020. The results showed that while ERCP remains a reliable and safe procedure for patients of all ages, success rates declined and procedure times increased significantly in older patients.
