Abstract

A large, retrospective, multicenter study examined the use of the Full-Thickness Resection Device (FTRD) for endoscopic full-thickness resection of duodenal neuroendocrine tumors (dNET). The study found that the FTRD procedure had a high rate of technical success, an acceptable rate of complete resection, a low rate of recurrence, and a low rate of severe adverse events. The results suggest that endoscopic full-thickness resection with FTRD may be preferable to other methods for the resection of dNET. [Extracted from the article]
