Abstract
- Species of argid sawflies of the small genus Pseudarge Gussakovskij, 1935 have been known for a long time only based on females. The paper gives for the first time illustrated descriptions of the males of two Middle Asian species, Pseudargerubicunda Gussakovskij, 1935 and Ps. ushinskii Gussakovskij, 1935, and also provides characters from the description of the male of Pseudargeeversmanni Gussakovskij, 1935 made by V.M. Ermolenko, which was overlooked by the authors of the genus revision. Photographs are given for these three species (including the habitus of the primary types and genital structures of both sexes), as well as an amended identification key. The intraspecific variation and differentiating characters of the species of this genus are discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
