Abstract

Russian companies are increasingly seeking ways to protect their plants and factories from Ukrainian drone attacks, leading to a surge in demand for radar and warfare equipment. Tender data shows that the demand for private systems to repel unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) has quadrupled in the past year. Russia has also managed to double its output of this equipment since the start of the war. The war has led to explosive growth in the electronic warfare market, with production struggling to keep up with demand. While electronic warfare equipment can limit damage from drone attacks, it is not invincible. Russian companies have also invested in physical barriers, strengthening structures, and insurance against drone damage. [Extracted from the article]
