Abstract

A recent study conducted at Texas State University examined the relationship between executive function and motor function impairment in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The study found that children with ASD experienced delays in both executive and motor function. The findings suggest that reaction time variability may be a useful predictor of motor skill performance in children with ASD, indicating underlying difficulties in executive function. This research has practical implications for clinicians and educators working with children with ASD. [Extracted from the article]
