Abstract
- A report from Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia discusses the findings of a study on delirium in pediatric patients. The study aimed to determine the incidence of delirium, identify risk factors, and validate scoring systems for predicting delirium. The research found that the incidence of delirium in pediatric patients was relatively high at 22.8%. The study also concluded that the Watcha scoring system was the most reliable for predicting delirium. However, some demographic and perioperative factors were not found to be risk factors for delirium. [Extracted from the article]
