Abstract
- A study conducted by Ilam University in Iran investigated the effects of a natural multicomponent emulsifier on the growth performance, nutrient digestibility, intestinal morphology, faecal microbiology, blood biochemistry, and liver enzyme activities of broiler chickens fed low-energy diets. The experiment involved 144 male broiler chickens split into four treatments, with different levels of emulsifier supplementation. The results showed that emulsifier supplementation improved feed efficiency, dry matter digestibility, and certain intestinal morphology parameters in broiler chickens fed low-energy diets. The study suggests using 0.5 g/kg of emulsifier per 100 kcal of metabolizable energy reduction in broiler diets. [Extracted from the article]
