Abstract
- A recent study conducted at Shinshu University Hospital examined the outcomes of critically ill patients with liver failure who require mechanical ventilation. The study found that while critically ill patients with liver failure have high mortality rates, mechanical ventilation did not negatively affect the 90-day mortality or performance rates of liver transplantation. The researchers suggest that clinicians should consider mechanical ventilation-based life support for critically ill patients with liver failure who are awaiting liver transplantation. The study provides valuable insights for healthcare professionals treating patients with liver failure. [Extracted from the article]
