Abstract
- A recent report discusses research conducted at the Polytechnic University of Valencia in Spain on water process engineering. The study investigated the use of natural antimicrobials immobilized on silica particles to disinfect drinking water contaminated with the Tulane virus. The results showed that the immobilized antimicrobials effectively reduced the infectivity of the virus, meeting the disinfection requirements for public water systems. This research has been peer-reviewed and provides valuable insights into water treatment methods. For more information, readers can refer to the Journal of Water Process Engineering.
