Abstract
- A recent report from Showa University Fujigaoka Hospital discusses the findings of a case study on myxomas, which are rare cardiac tumors. The study focused on a male patient in his 80s with advanced chronic kidney disease who was found to have a rapidly growing right atrial myxoma. The tumor, measuring 37 mm x 28 mm, was discovered during an echocardiogram and was surgically removed. This case is notable because the patient is the oldest reported case of a rapidly growing right atrial tumor.
