Abstract
- A report from Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota discusses the clinical and radiological features of parasagittal dural arteriovenous fistulas (dAVFs). These are uncommon abnormalities that involve abnormal connections between arteries and veins in the brain. The report presents a case series of eight patients with parasagittal dAVFs, detailing their clinical presentation, treatment strategies, and outcomes. The study found that symptoms related to these abnormalities resolved after their obliteration through endovascular therapy or surgical ligation. This research provides valuable insights into the management of parasagittal dAVFs. [Extracted from the article]
