The article covers educational parliamentary activity of Great Britain from July 19-23, 2004 and future activity planned beyond that. Reports of debates, full lists of education early day motions and education statutory instruments, along with answers to a cross-section of written questions, are also contained in the article. During the adjournment debate just before the House rose for the summer recess, four MPs raised education issues. On the other hand the Northern Ireland Office issued two short written statements about youth policy. One announced the annual report and accounts of the Youth Justice Agency and the other made a similar announcement about the Youth Council for Northern Ireland.
