Abstract
- Researchers from Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences in Sari, Iran have conducted a study on the synthesis of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using green tea extract. The study found that the green tea-synthesized AgNPs exhibited enhanced anti-cancer activity against melanoma cells while reducing cytotoxic effects on normal cells. The nanoparticles had an average size of 91 nm and reduced the viability of malignant murine melanoma cell lines. The research suggests that these green tea-synthesized AgNPs hold great potential for further exploration and application in anti-cancer research. [Extracted from the article]
