Abstract
- A new study conducted by researchers at Kikkoman Corporation in Chiba, Japan, has found that traction magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can improve the visibility of elbow cartilage. The study assessed the effects of different traction weights on elbow MRI in 30 healthy volunteers and found that elbow MRI with 3 kg traction showed similar effects to those observed with 7 kg traction, with minimal pain and discomfort. This procedure may enhance the visualization of intra-articular elbow injuries. The study was published in the journal Diagnostics. [Extracted from the article]
