This article examines the effectiveness of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in disaster response and management in Batam, Indonesia. The study uses surveys and case studies to evaluate the role of ICTs in improving preparedness and response to disasters. The findings highlight the positive impact of ICT-based early warning systems, communication networks, and data management. However, challenges such as equitable access to technology, infrastructure limitations, and privacy concerns need to be addressed.
