Abstract

A recent study conducted at the 'Hippokration' General Hospital of Athens examined the usefulness of ischemia testing in patients with monomorphic ventricular tachycardia (VT). The researchers reviewed eight selected studies and concluded that testing for ischemia, such as coronary angiography, does not reduce VT recurrence or affect mortality in these patients. However, the researchers emphasized the need for validation from randomized controlled trials. This research provides valuable insights into the management of monomorphic VT and highlights the importance of further investigation in this area. [Extracted from the article]
