Abstract
- A study conducted by researchers at Tel Aviv University examined the attitudes and readiness of patients with chronic illnesses and nurses towards the use of health information exchange. The study found that awareness of health information exchange was low among all three groups surveyed. Contact nurses expressed more positive attitudes towards sharing information than internal ward nurses or patients. The researchers concluded that before implementing a health information exchange system, it is important to raise awareness and intention to use it among the public, nurses, and other medical staff. They also recommended organizing national campaigns to provide detailed information about the system. [Extracted from the article]
