Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine investigated the protective effects of Jinteng Qingbi granules (JTQBG), a traditional Chinese medicine formulation, on rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in rats. The study found that JTQBG had a significant therapeutic effect on the rats by reducing inflammation, synovial hyperplasia, cartilage erosion, and bone destruction. The researchers also identified potential molecular mechanisms, including the suppression of the NF-kB pathway and the regulation of serum metabolite disorders. These findings suggest that JTQBG may be an effective treatment for RA. [Extracted from the article]
