Abstract
- A recent preprint abstract analyzed the success rates of drugs in clinical trials over the past two decades. The study found that the success rates have been declining since the beginning of the 21st century and have reached a low point in recent years. The analysis also revealed significant variation in success rates among different diseases, developmental strategies, and drug modalities. A platform called ClinSR.org was created to provide dynamic updates on the success rates and customized calculations for specific drug groups. This study aims to provide accurate and timely information to aid pharmaceutical and economic decision-making. Please note that this preprint has not yet undergone peer review.
