Abstract

A study conducted at Guilin University of Electronic Technology in China has revealed new findings on imaging technology. The research focuses on the use of frequency diversity array (FDA) radar for target tracking and imaging. The study proposes a high-resolution target imaging approach using an inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging model based on multiple repeated subpulses of FDA ISAR radar. Numerical experiments demonstrated the effectiveness of this approach, showing its superiority over conventional ISAR imaging methods in terms of energy utilization and hardware overhead. The research has been peer-reviewed and published in the Journal of Applied Remote Sensing. [Extracted from the article]
