Change of brainstem auditory-evoked potential in vertebrobasilar transient ischemic attack patients.

This article presents a study on the brainstem auditory-evoked potential (BAEP) in patients with vertebrobasilar transient ischemic attack (VBTIA). The study found that VBTIA patients had a prolonged absolute latency of wave V and a reduction in amplitude of wave V, which was statistically significant. These findings suggest that BAEP could be a useful tool for early detection of stroke progression in VBTIA patients.
