Abstract

The theory of adaptive perturbations has been applied (as far as possible) to a wide class of variable-parameter multidimensional linear systems. This theory naturally relies on a mathematical apparatus that uses state variables. On the other hand, most engineers are used to analyzing and designing control systems using transfer functions. In fact, classical methods based on the concept of using transfer functions and frequency characteristics are usually presented to design engineers as the only way to explain how this or that control system works [2-8]. Thus, there is some interest in investigating the performance of perturbation-adaptive adjusters from the traditional point of view of transfer functions. For this purpose, we consider the interpretation of the turbulence-eliminating adjusters in transfer functions for linear objects with constant parameters (1), (2) and constant turbulence models (3), (4). We consider cases of scalar control of output variables u and unmeasured disturbance w in equations (1) - (4). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
