Abstract

The article discusses research which reanalyzed perfluoro-3,5,7,9,11-pentaoxadodecanoic acid (PFO5DoA) levels in blood serum samples from residents in Wilmington, North Carolina from 2017-2018. The study quantified PFO5DoA concentration in serum samples and identified the method reporting limit. Data shows the mass concentrations of perfluoroalkyl ether acids (PFEA) and legacy per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in serum.
