Abstract

Object: The dynamic behavior of sandwich cylindrical shell with fused deposition processed of flexible honeycomb core and carbon nanotube reinforced composite faces sheets is analyzed. Method: The every layer of the sandwich cylindrical shell is described by three displacements projections and two rotations angles of the normal to the middle surface. The faces sheets displacements projections are expanded up to the quadratic terms with respect to transverse coordinates. The honeycomb core displacements projections are expanded up to the cubic terms with respect to a transverse coordinate. The compatibility conditions for layers are used. The Rayleigh–Ritz method is applied to analyze linear vibrations of sandwich cylindrical shell. Results: The properties of the eigenfrequencies and eigenmodes of the structure vibrations are analyzed in detail. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
