Abstract
- A clinical trial, NCT06281223, has been launched to study the brain-spinal cord neural connectivity in spasticity. The trial aims to improve the surgical procedure of selective dorsal rhizotomy surgery for the treatment of spasticity by understanding the peripheral and central mechanisms of action. The trial will involve cortico-medullo-radiculo-muscular recordings that have never been performed or published before, as well as the identification of variations in connectivity correlated with the clinic. The trial is observational in nature and will include patients aged 3 to 17 years who are scheduled for selective rhizotomy surgery. [Extracted from the article]
