Abstract
- A researcher from West Virginia University has published new studies and findings in the area of gene therapy. The research focuses on the development of a brain-targeted drug delivery system using genetically engineered exosomes. The study demonstrates that intravenous injection of these exosomes in mice successfully transferred a green fluorescent protein gene throughout the central nervous system, with greater efficiency than control exosomes. This research has implications for the development of effective systemic drug delivery technology for central nervous system diseases. [Extracted from the article]
