Abstract

Researchers from the University of Life Sciences in Lublin have conducted a study on the use of bio-based nanomaterials in sustainable agriculture. The research highlights the potential of nanoscale materials derived from plants and microbes to transform agriculture through various applications such as toxin detection, precise nutrient delivery, and plant growth promotion. However, the commercialization and research of these technologies are currently limited. The study emphasizes the need for further understanding of nanomaterial behaviors, evaluation of functionality and distribution, and robust governmental oversight to fully harness the potential of green nanotechnology in enabling sustainable agriculture.
