Abstract

A recent study conducted at the National Institutes of Health focused on toxicology and specifically on skin sensitization, which can lead to allergic contact dermatitis. The study used in vitro assays and in silico analysis to assess the skin sensitization potential of compounds in the Tox21 10K compound library. The researchers screened the entire library and prioritized 288 compounds for further testing. The study provides a large dataset on skin sensitization and associated tools for chemical assessments.
