Abstract

A study conducted by researchers at the Military University of Technology in Warsaw, Poland, explored the use of graphene paper as a carrier for medicinal substances. The researchers incorporated the antibiotics ciprofloxacin, cefazolin, and methicillin into the graphene paper and tested its impact on bacterial strains. The study found that graphene paper with ciprofloxacin had a bactericidal effect on Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains, while methicillin and cefazolin acted mainly locally. The research suggests that graphene paper can be used as a carrier for selected medicinal substances. [Extracted from the article]
