Abstract
- A recent study published in Nature challenges dominant theories about human origins in Africa. The research team, led by McGill University and the University of California-Davis, found evidence of humans living in different regions of Africa, migrating and mixing with one another over hundreds of thousands of years. This contradicts the idea of a single central ancestral population. The study used genomic data from diverse African groups to trace genetic interconnections and gain insight into human evolution across the continent. Additionally, the article mentions the construction of a new dinosaur interpretive center in South Africa and the discovery of Wonderwerk Cave, the world's oldest known home.
