- Skijoring Utah is an annual event in Heber City that combines ski racing and rodeo. Skiers are pulled by horses at high speeds, navigating jumps and gates on a 600-foot course. The event attracts competitors from all over the West and offers a cash prize of $25,000. The crowd at Skijoring Utah represents a blend of Western cowboy culture and mountain town ski culture.
