Abstract

The article explores the future of marketing education and its potential changes. It discusses eight predictions for the next decade, including the growth of online learning, personalized learning becoming the norm, the role of artificial intelligence and virtual reality in education, and the globalization of education. The article also highlights the contributions of the Journal of Marketing Education (JME) in addressing these predictions, such as online learning and the global influence of business education. It further examines the importance of innovation, resilience, and technology integration in education, particularly in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The JME's current issue focuses on generative AI, marketing analytics technology, digital marketing, and social media marketing, emphasizing the need for competency-based education and bridging the gap between industry and academia.
