Abstract
- Researchers from Visvesvaraya Technological University in Karnataka, India have developed an effective food recommendation system for diabetic patients. The system uses personal health information and food product data from the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) dataset to suggest suitable dietary plans. The data is preprocessed to eliminate noise and select significant features, which are then classified using the proposed Hybrid Ensemble Support Vector Deep Residual (HESDR) approach. The results show that the HESDR approach achieves a high accuracy rate of about 98.3% in classifying diabetic patients and recommending nutrient-dense food products. This research has been peer-reviewed and provides valuable insights for maintaining a healthy diet for diabetic patients. [Extracted from the article]
