Individuelle und schulische Sozialisationsbedingungen von Vertrauen in politische Institutionen.

This article enhances the understanding of individual and school-related drivers of socialization connecting to trust in political institutions. Using data from the International Civic and Citizenship Education Study 2016, the authors show that pupils in Germany report high levels of trust in political institutions that is reduced for pupils with international biographies, experiences of teacher unfairness, and in schools with a high proportion of pupils with international biography, as well as in academic tracks (Gymnasium).
