Abstract
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently visited the Dwarkadhish Temple in Gujarat, where he took a dive into the sea and offered prayers. The pictures of him donning scuba gear and paying obeisance at the submerged city of Dwarka went viral on social media. Dwarka holds great significance in Hindu religion as it is believed to have been ruled by Lord Krishna. PM Modi described the visit as a long cherished dream and expressed his emotions at being able to touch the remains of the ancient city. The visit is seen by some as a message that the restoration of Krishna Janmabhoomi will be a key agenda in PM Modi's potential third term. [Extracted from the article]
