Abstract

The article focuses on the importance of addressing environmental justice to reduce health disparities globally, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). It highlights the argument made by Ray and Cooper in "The Bioethics of Environmental Injustice," emphasizing the impact of environmental injustice on marginalized populations in low-resource settings and proposing a focus on pregnant individuals and children in LMICs as uniquely vulnerable groups.
